Andrew R. Davis, Chief
Andrew R. Davis has been serving as the Chief of the Division of Interpretations and Standards (DIS) since January 2009. The DIS chief is responsible for developing and formulating policy and administering regulatory activity, as well as developing and administering a comprehensive national public information program designed to increase compliance with the LMRDA and related laws. Mr. Davis joined OLMS in November, 2005, as a policy and law advisor. He has been involved in rulemaking, policy and interpretative work, and guidance for the field and public regarding the LMRDA and related laws and regulations. From May to November, 2007, he worked on detail as an investigator in the OLMS Washington District Office. Mr. Davis graduated from the University of Maryland and the Catholic University of America School of Law.
