AB90-1 is a brief summary of what DOL IG does in the areas of audits and investigations. AB90-1 is a one page general description of OIG activities. Purpose: The Awareness Bulletin 90-1 is used to inform the public of the OIG and its functions. The AB90-1 provides general facts and activities. Agency Program: The OIG is an independent, objective entity in the Department of Labor (DOL) charged with promoting program efficiency, and preventing fraud, waste and abuse in the Department's programs and operations.
