Fred H.: Exploring Career Options and Job Experience
Encouraged by a job shadowing day in which he took part at the U.S. Department of Labor, Fred H. returned to the Labor Department this past summer as an intern in the engineering office. This opportunity arose through his participation in the Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities co-sponsored by ODEP and the U.S. Department of Defense. Fred is currently attending Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), where he is majoring in electrical engineering.
