Dani A.: Ensuring Leadership Development of Youth with Disabilities
Dani A. was a panelist at Blazing the Trail: a National Youth Development and Leadership Summit sponsored by ODEP this past summer to develop strategies that will increase the quality and availability of the nation’s youth leadership programs and ensure the participation of youth with disabilities. Currently a student at Sacramento City College, she plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in political science. Dani, who has muscular dystrophy, is also a project assistant for the California Health Incentives Improvement Project and an alumna of the Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities.
