Blane R.: Drafting and Designing a Path to Self-Employment
With more than 20 years experience in the engineering industry, Blane R. launched CAD Tooling Design & Drafting, a provider of engineering support utilizing three dimensional computer-aided design. Blane, who has paraplegia, completed a training program offered by the ODEP-funded Easter Seals Central Alabama ACE Micro-Enterprise Program. He received a small loan to purchase equipment, as well as management and technical support, to assist him in realizing his dream of becoming a business owner.
