Guest Room Rate

A limited number of guest rooms have been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at the rate of $157.00 (excluding local and state taxes at 10.25%) for single or double occupancy. This rate is available until Wednesday, July 13, 2011. After Wednesday, July 13, 2011, guest rooms will be subject to hotel availability and at the prevailing rate, so please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.


Accessible Guest Rooms

The Hyatt Regency Crystal City has a total of 24 accessible guest rooms, 5 of which have roll in showers. These rooms will be reserved and guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis, so make your reservations as soon as you can. If you require an accessible room or require few minor adjustments (such as removing the bathroom doors or re-arranging the furniture) to a non-accessible room, please make your reservation and send a follow up email to tvia@hcdi.com. Please mention that you are attending the National Diversity Forum and indicate your specific needs. Be sure to include your reservation confirmation number.


Guest Room Reservation Procedures

The Hotel understands that all reservations will be made, modified or canceled by individuals either online by visiting https://resweb.passkey.com/go/NatlDiversityForum or by calling Hyatt Reservations at 1-888-421-1442 and refer to the group and meeting name, National Diversity Forum. Reservations must be made on or before the cutoff date. All group attendees will be responsible for their own room, tax and incidental charges.

All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid major credit card, which will be supplied at the time of reservation. Any guaranteed reservation not cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival will be subject to one night room and tax cancellation fee.

In addition to the items listed above, each wheelchair accessible guest room features:

  • Lowered peepholes
  • A wide entranceway to allow a large turning radius

You may check in any time after 3 p.m. Guests arriving at the hotel prior to 3 p.m. will be accommodated as rooms become available. You must check out by 12 p.m. on your scheduled date of departure. The front desk will provide a baggage storage area upon request for early arrivals or late departures.


Airports/Train

All participants are responsible for their transportation arrangements to/from the National Diversity Forum and around Washington, D.C.

The Washington, D.C. area is served by three airports — Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA); Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) — and one train station, Union Station. Distances vary from airports; please note estimated taxi fares listed below.


Local Ground Transportation

The Hotel is just 1.6 miles from Reagan National Airport; 28 miles from Dulles International Airport; 37 miles from Baltimore/Washington International Airport and 5.5 miles from Union Station.

The Hyatt Regency Crystal City offers Courtesy shuttle service to and from Reagan National Airport. This service is available with chair lifts 5:00 a.m.-12:00 a.m. The shuttle departs from hotel at the top of each hour and 20 minutes and 40 minutes past the hour. To call for a pick-up from the airport, please call the hotel at 703-418-1234 from a cell phone or the courtesy phone in the baggage claim area. Look for blue vans with white lettering saying Hyatt Regency Crystal City.

The Crystal City trolley is available throughout the city at a cost of 50 cents per ride. The trolley pick ups at hotel in 7 minute intervals, and runs Monday-Friday from 6:00 a.m.- 6:30 p.m.

Metrorail System

The Hyatt Regency Crystal City is a 10 minute walk from the Crystal City Metro station on the Blue and Yellow lines. Courtesy shuttle service is available to and from the Crystal City Metro station and leaves the hotel every 15 minutes. To arrange for a pick-up from the Crystal City Metro station, call the hotel at 703-418-1234. Shuttles stop near the brown Metro sign at the corner of South Clark and South Bell Streets. Look for the White/Red Shuttle sign. The Metro Subway hours are: 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. Sun. - Thurs. and 8:00 a.m.- 2:00 a.m. Fri. - Sat. Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) are not accessible by Metro.


Driving Directions/Local Parking

From Ronald Reagan National Airport - 1.6 Miles

Follow signs to Crystal City. Take the Rt. 1 South exit and get in the left hand lane. Turn left at first light, 27th Street, the Hyatt Regency Crystal City is on the left.

From Dulles International Airport - 26 Miles

Take the Dulles Toll Road East approximately 16.6 miles to I-66 East. Take I-66 East approximately 7.3 miles to exit 75 (Rt. 110 South). Go approximately 3 miles. Rt. 110 South turns into Rt. 1 South (Jefferson Davis Hwy). Take Rt. 1 South (Jefferson Davis Hwy) to 4th traffic light (27th Street). Turn left at 27th Street, our lodging near Reagan National Airport will be on the left.
