Adobe's PDF (Portable Data Format) is a format designed specifically
with electronic documents in mind. Based on the postscript page
description language, it allows complex documents to be distributed
without requiring the application that produced them. Netscape recently
announced that future versions of their web browser, Netscape Navigator,
will include integrated Acrobat support, but for now, you'll need Adobe's
freely distributed Acrobat Reader to view or print these documents. You
must have the Acrobat Reader to view PDF files. Versions for DOS, Windows,
Macintosh, and UNIX are available. If you do not already have the Reader,
you can download the latest versions from
Adobe
.
