Introduction to Methods of Administration Regulatory Requirements
Wednesday, February 09, 2011 3:00 to 4:30 pm (eastern) Description: Designed for new equal opportunity officers, this webinar will review the regulatory requirements related to preparing and submitting a State's Methods of Administration (MOA). The MOA is a document that describes the actions the State is taking to ensure that recipients of Federal financial assistance within its One-Stop workforce development system comply with applicable Federal laws related to nondiscrimination and equal opportunity (EO). State- and local-level staff and management within the system should be able to consult the MOA, in addition to the EO Officer, for help in determining what steps to take when they are confronted with an EO issue.

How Complaints are Processed at CRC

Description: The Civil Rights Center (CRC) is responsible for processing complaints from the public alleging discrimination by recipients of federal financial assistance, or by federally conducted programs like Job Corps. This webinar conducted by CRC staff of the Office of External Enforcement will provide you with a window into the details of what happens when a compliant is received; what are the steps to adjudicating the discrimination complaint with the CRC.
