MISSION:

DOL Seal- Because of our Customers-Get the Job Done Right

The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) oversees a Comprehensive Emergency Management System (CEMS) for the Department of Labor. The CEMS prescribes departmental roles and responsibilities to adequately prepare for and respond to a full spectrum of potential natural or man-made disasters, as well as supporting lead Federal agencies in assisting state and local governments, to include international requests for assistance, in the event of such disasters.
