The Presidential Taskforce on Americans with Disabilities and the Wirtz Labor Library presented articles showcasing the "Americans with Disabilities Act". This law passed on July 26, 1990, which addressed the needs of disabled Americans.

The Presidential Taskforce on Americans with Disabilities, issued their first report entitled "Recharting the Course" in November of 1998.
