Problem to be Addressed |
Child domestic service is deeply ingrained in the cultural and traditional structure of Haitian society, constituting a fundamental element of the relationship between rural and urban populations. Child domestics are one of the most vulnerable and exploited populations in the country. |
Results |
The project withdrew 153 children from exploitive domestic labor. The geographic regions of the project included the nine departments of Haiti: Artibonite, Centre, Grand’Anse, Nord, Nord-Est, Nord-Ouest, Ouest, Sud, and Sud-Est. |
