Competency-based Economies through Formation of Enterprise

Competency-based Economies through Formation of Enterprise (CEFE) provides individuals in developing countries with entrepreneurial skills and trains them to start their own businesses.  The Training Program for Illiterates Instruction Manual is provided in English, and the Workbook and Guidelines for Trainers are provided in Dari.

Espacios para Emprender Transitional After-School Program

Espacios para Emprender (EpE), or Spaces for Entrepreneurship in English, is a transitional after-school program aimed at decreasing child labor in Central and South American countries. All EpE training materials are available in Spanish only.

Generate Your Business Idea: ILO Entrepreneurship Training Program

The Generate Your Business Idea (GYBI) Training Program was designed by the International Labor Organization (ILO) as a two-day course within its larger Start and Improve Your Business program targeted at male and female entrepreneurs. These GYBI training materials have been adapted for use by the ILO in Indonesia and are available in the Bahasa language only.

Improve Your Exhibiting Skills: An International Labor Organization (ILO) Training Guide

Improve Your Exhibiting Skills (IYES) training guide was created by the ILO to facilitate women micro-entrepreneurs’ participation in and success at trade fairs and exhibitions. These IYES training materials have been adapted for use by the ILO in Indonesia and are available in English as well as the Bahasa language.

Gender and Entrepreneurship Together: GET Ahead for Women in Enterprise

The Gender and Entrepreneurship Together (GET) Ahead training package was designed by the International Labor Organization (ILO) as a training course to develop women’s confidence and encourage their entrepreneurial drive. The GET Ahead training manual has been adapted for use in Egypt and Indonesia and is available in Arabic, Bahasa, and English.

Training for Rural Economic Empowerment (TREE): Rural Skills Training

The Training for Rural Economic Empowerment (TREE) rural skills training package was designed by the Skills and Employability Department of the International Labor Organization (ILO). These TREE materials were developed in 2007 for use in Pakistan and the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) of the Philippines with funding from the U.S. Department of Labor. The users’ manuals for each of these versions are provided in English.
