Under the North American Agreement on Labor Cooperation (NAALC)

Regarding the persistent failure by the Mexican Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare (Secretaría de Trabajo y Previsión Social - STPS), the Mexican Institute of Social Security (Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social - IMSS), and the Mexican Secretariat of Health (Secretaría de Salud - SSA) to enforce health and safety laws and regulations applicable to the workplace, and to provide appropriate medical referral, and disability benefits for work-related accidents and illnesses.
