Problem to be Addressed |
An extensive amount of information and lessons learned on child labor and the implementation of policies and programs to address child labor has been developed. However, much of this information is not available to all constituents working in the field of child labor. |
Project Objectives |
Contribute to the prevention and elimination of child labor through strengthening the knowledge base on effective action for addressing the worst forms of child labor and strengthening the position of ILO/IPEC as global facilitator of such knowledge |
Summary of Activities |

Develop a system and sustainable strategy for capturing, documenting and storing information and lessons learned;

Develop knowledge products including working papers, short summaries, abstracts, popular outreach materials, and resource kits for practitioners working in the field of child labor;

Develop dissemination strategies for sharing the information contained in the knowledge products such as training activities, networks, electronic newsletters, virtual discussion fora, and specific content areas on the web.
