High-Level Visitors to the Department of Labor
At their meeting on February 1, Secretary Solis and Minister Pardo discussed Colombia's progress in protecting workers' rights and ongoing technical cooperation between DOL and the Ministry of Labor of Colombia.

Secretary Solis and Minister Kharge discussed bilateral cooperation on labor and employment issues and signed a memorandum of understanding on labor cooperation on February 2. Minister Kharge and his team also visited the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at the University of Texas, Arlington and the AFL-CIO's National Labor College, and will visit a Job Corps center in Long Beach, California.

Secretary Solis and Commissioner Andor met on February 2 and focused on priority employment initiatives in the United States and the European Union (EU), the G20 Labor and Employment Task Force on Youth Employment, and the European Commission's bilateral activities with DOL through the U.S. — EU Working Group on Labor and Employment Issues.
