Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations 12223 NURSING ASSISTANT IIIPerforms a variety of common nursing procedures as described at level II. Work requires prior experience or training to perform these procedures with some latitude for exercising independent initiative or limited judgment. May also: perform several procedures sequentially; chart patient care; administer prescribed medication and simple treatments; teach patient self care; and lead lower level nursing assistants.
