Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations 12220 NURSING ASSISTANT (Nursing Aide, Orderly and Attendant)Provides personal and nursing care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, resident care facilities, clinics, private homes, and community health organizations. Duties include maintaining patient hygiene and supporting doctors and nurses in diagnostic procedures, technical treatments, patient charting and patient teaching. Work does not require state licensure. Supervisory positions are excluded.
