01011 ACCOUNTING CLERK I
Performs very simple and routine accounting clerical operations, for
example, recognizing and comparing easily identified numbers and codes on
similar and repetitive accounting documents, verifying mathematical accuracy,
and identifying discrepancies and bringing them to the supervisor's attention.
Supervisor gives clear and detailed instructions for specific assignments.
Employee refers to supervisor all matters not covered by instructions. Work is
closely controlled and reviewed in detail for accuracy, adequacy, and adherence
to instructions.
