INDICTMENT

COUNT ONE

The Grand Jury charges that:

On or about August 16, 2004, in the Eastern District of Missouri,

DUANE JOHN RAAB,

the defendant herein, while an officer, that is, Business Agent/Secretary-Treasurer of Iron Workers, AFL-CIO, Local 518, a labor organization engaged in an industry affecting commerce, did embezzle, steal and unlawfully and willfully abstract and convert to his own use and the use of another the moneys, funds, securities, property, and other assets of said labor organization in the approximate amount of $703.77.

In violation of Title 29, United States Code, Section 501(c).

COUNT TWO

The Grand Jury further charges that:

On or about July 6, 2004, in the Eastern District of Missouri,

DUANE JOHN RAAB,

the defendant herein, while an officer, that is, Business Agent/Secretary-Treasurer of Iron Workers, AFL-CIO, Local 518, a labor organization engaged in an industry affecting commerce, did embezzle, steal and unlawfully and willfully abstract and convert to his own use and the use of another the moneys, funds, securities, property, and other assets of said labor organization in the approximate amount of $2,475.89.

In violation of Title 29, United States Code, Section 501(c).

COUNT THREE

The Grand Jury further charges that:

On or about August 27, 2004, in the Eastern District of Missouri, DUANE JOHN RAAB,

the defendant herein, while an officer, that is, Business Agent/Secretary-Treasurer of Iron Workers, AFL-CIO, Local 518, a labor organization engaged in an industry affecting commerce, did embezzle, steal and unlawfully and willfully abstract and convert to his own use and the use of another the moneys, funds, securities, property, and other assets of said labor organization in the approximate amount of $3,746.22.

In violation of Title 29, United States Code, Section 501(c).
