School Work Experience Programs (SWEP) place students with disabilities
who receive special minimum wages at work sites in the community. Certificates
for such programs are issued to the schools administering them, not the
businesses at which the students are placed. Such certificates are obtained by
submitting an application (WH-226) and
the required supplemental sheet (WH-226A).
SWEP certificates remain in effect for only one year.
