This grant is covered by the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.

Regardless of dollar value, all grants received from the Federal government are covered by this Act.

You must meet the requirements of the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988. Grantees who fail to do so face certain penalties.

Review the Act's requirements for organizations

Organizations must meet these same requirements for all Federal grants and covered contracts, but not all contracts are covered. Also, the requirements for individual contractors/grantees are not as extensive as for organizations.
