Notify the Contracting or Granting Agency
Upon receiving notice of an employees conviction of a criminal drug statute
occurring in the workplace, the employer must provide written notice within 10 calendar
days to the appropriate person or office in the Federal agency from which he or she
receives a contract or grant. The notice must include the convicted employees
position title and grant or contract identification number. The employer must notify the
appropriate Federal contact regardless of how he or she is informed of the employees
conviction (i.e., by the employee, a co-worker, the newspaper, etc.)
