In the Matter of DEBBIE A. BOUGHNER-SMITH and U.S. POSTAL SERVICE,

POST OFFICE, Youngstown, OH

Docket No. 98-2048; Submitted on the Record;

Issued June 1, 2000

____________

DECISION and ORDER

Before   GEORGE E. RIVERS, BRADLEY T. KNOTT,

A. PETER KANJORSKI

            The issue is whether appellant has established that she sustained a recurrence of disability beginning October 28, 1996, causally related to her December 20, 1995 accepted employment‑related cervical, thoracic and lumbar strain and left ankle sprain.

            The Board has carefully reviewed the record of evidence and considered the contentions of appellant on appeal and finds that the April 23, 1998 decision of the hearing representative for the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs is in accordance with the facts and the law in this case.  The Board, therefore, adopts the findings and conclusions of the hearing representative.

            The decision of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs dated April 23, 1998 is hereby affirmed.

Dated,  Washington, D.C.
