Employees’ Compensation Appeals Board

____________

In the Matter of GLORIA E. HARRIS and DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS,

VETERANS ADMINISTRATION MEDICAL CENTER, Saginaw, Mich.

Docket No. 96-1576; Submitted on the Record;

Issued July 2, 1998

____________

DECISION and ORDER

Before   DAVID S. GERSON, WILLIE T.C. THOMAS,

MICHAEL E. GROOM

            The issue is whether appellant has met her burden of proof in establishing that she sustained a recurrence of disability after January 8, 1995 that was causally related to her accepted employment injury of February 24, 1994.

            The Board has given careful consideration to the issue involved, the contentions of appellant on appeal and the entire case record.  The Board finds that the April 1, 1996 decision of the hearing representative of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, finalized on April 2, 1996, is in accordance with the facts and law in this case and hereby adopts the findings and conclusions of the hearing representative.[1]

            The decision of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs dated April 2, 1996 is hereby affirmed.

Dated,  Washington, D.C.
