Employees’ Compensation Appeals Board
____________
In the Matter of KATRINA E. WEEKS and U.S. POSTAL SERVICE,
POST OFFICE, Philadelphia, Pa.
Docket No. 96-1771; Submitted on the Record;
Issued August 7, 1998
____________
DECISION and ORDER
Before MICHAEL J. WALSH, WILLIE T.C. THOMAS,
BRADLEY T. KNOTT
The issue is whether the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs met its burden of proof to terminate appellant’s compensation benefits as of May 12, 1995.
The Board has given careful consideration to the issue involved, the contentions of appellant on appeal and the entire case record. The Board finds that the decision of the Office hearing representative, dated and finalized on February 23, 1996, is in accordance with the facts and law in this case. The Office did meet its burden of proof to establish that the accepted conditions of sprain/contusion and internal derangement of the right knee, right shoulder strain and lumbosacral strain ceased by May 12, 1995. The Board hereby adopts the findings and conclusions of the hearing representative.
The decision of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs hearing representative dated and finalized on February 23, 1996 is hereby affirmed.
