Employees’ Compensation Appeals Board

____________

In the Matter of JOY BUNIS and U.S. POSTAL SERVICE,

MADISON SQUARE STATION, New York, N.Y.

Docket No. 96-1586; Submitted on the Record;

Issued August 12, 1998

____________

DECISION and ORDER

Before   GEORGE E. RIVERS, DAVID S. GERSON,

A. PETER KANJORSKI

            The issue is whether appellant has met her burden of proof in establishing that her recurrence of disability after August 10, 1993 was causally related to her August 22, 1985 employment injury.

            The Board has given careful consideration to the issue involved, the contentions of appellant on appeal and the entire case record.  The Board finds that the February 20, 1996 decision of the hearing representative of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, finalized on February 21, 1996, is in accordance with the facts and law in this case and hereby adopts the findings and conclusions of the hearing representative.

            The decision of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, dated February 20, 1996 and finalized on February 21, 1996, is hereby affirmed.
