Washington, DC - The three working groups of the
Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans have scheduled
extended hearings on July 17 and 18 in Conference Room N-5437 at the U.S.

|
On July 17, a joint session is set for two of the
working groups - Increasing Pension Coverage and Preparing for Retirement. It

will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run until approximately 4:00 p.m. |
|
On July 18, the Working Group on Challenges to the

approximately 2:00 p.m. |
|
All three working groups anticipate completion of
their reports and/or recommendations to the Secretary of Labor by the close of
the Council's year on November 14, at which time a full meeting of the Advisory
Council is scheduled. |
|
