The U. S. Department of Labors ERISA
Section 3(40) Negotiated Rulemaking Advisory Committee will hold public
meetings on November 16 and 17 to continue discussions on developing a proposed
rule on whether an employee benefit plan is established or maintained under a
collective bargaining agreement.
The agenda for the meeting includes discussion of
a possible consensus recommendation for a proposed rule and the content of a
report to be submitted to the Secretary of Labor as required by the Negotiated
Rulemaking Act.
The committee meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m. and
end about 5:00 p.m. each day at the Department of Labor, 200 Constitution
Avenue, N.W., Room C-5515 (Conference Room 4), Washington, D. C. All committee
meetings are open to the public. Minutes of the meeting will be available
through PWBAs Public Disclosure Facility, Room N5638, 200 Constitution
Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210.
Members of the public may submit 15 copies of
