Worker Assistance Program Meeting in Boise, Idaho

The Mexican Consulate in Boise hosted the EMPLEO Alliance meeting announcing the official launch of the worker assistance hotline in Idaho. Consul Carlos Rubio welcomes alliance partners.
Priscilla Garcia, public relations director for the department's Wage and Hour Division in the Western Region (speaking) applauded the advancement of the EMPLEO program in Idaho.
As host of the meeting, the Deputy Consul of the Mexican Consulate in Boise, Diego Simancas, offers remarks to all attendees at the EMPLEO meeting, including federal and state government agencies, advocates, faith-based and community-based organizations.
Idaho Community Action Network's Krista Bustamante advocates for the EMPLEO program during an interview with Gustavo Acosta, with La Gran D radio station, at 101.09 FM.
During a radio taping at La Gran D station WHD's Priscilla Garcia said, "Since the program started in Southern California in 2004, EMPLEO's hotline has been instrumental in helping approximately 10,000 workers recover more than $14 million in back wages."
