EXECUTIVE SUMMARY REPORT
The EBSA EMS is a sensitive system that has been operating successfully
since 1998. PII stored on the EMS is limited to information necessary for the
Agency to carry out its duties and is well protected by numerous security
controls. The Privacy Act of 1974 and the eight principles presented in the
assessment methodology are being followed or are in the process of being
implemented.
PIA Results
In the one area of weakness (rules of conduct) improvements are
recommended. This item and any other actions resulting from this assessment are
identified in the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and will be
tracked until completion.
