Acting Director — Ben Seigel

Ben Seigel is the Acting Director of the Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the Department of Labor. Mr. Seigel joined DOL as Deputy Director of the Center in April 2010. At the Center, he led DOL's efforts in launching and managing the Job Clubs Initiative. From 2013-2015, he also served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Employment and Training Administration. In addition to his role as Acting Director of the Center, Mr. Seigel also serves as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Deputy Secretary, Chris Lu. Finally, Mr. Seigel serves as the Obama Administration's team lead in its coordinated, interagency place-based effort working with the City of Baltimore. Prior to joining DOL, Mr. Seigel held senior positions at Seedco, a national workforce and community development nonprofit organization. Mr. Seigel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Swarthmore College and a Master of Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner School at New York University.
