This workshop is designed to answer questions related to adverse impact.
May 14 OFCCP: Compliance Assistance for Federal Contractors, Orange, CA.
Please join the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs for a compliance assistance seminar for federal supply and service contractors. OFCCP's presentation will include preparing affirmative action programs under Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974.
May 14 OLMS-Compliance Seminar, Houston, TX.
The OLMS Dallas-New Orleans District Office will conduct a compliance assistance seminar in Houston, Texas for all interested union officials. The topics of discussion will be the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA), financial recordkeeping and internal financial controls, the Electronic Forms System and union officer elections. May 14 Free Seminar: Emphasis on wage requirements for workers under Section 14(c) of the FLSA, Ithaca, NY.
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division will offer a free seminar in Ithaca, NY on May 14, 2014 to assist employers and community rehabilitation programs (CRPs) in complying with Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Guardians and family members of workers with disabilities are invited and encouraged to attend as well. There is no fee to attend this conference; however, space is limited. Registration starts at 8:30 AM and the seminar runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you wish to attend, please follow the registration prompt. You will receive a confirmation email once registration is complete. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Ithaca seminar, please contact Kendra Reed at Reed.kendra@dol.gov.
