Aug 7 US DOL Forum, Dallas, TX.
The OFCCP Dallas District Office in partnership with OSHA, WHD, EBSA, Women’s Bureau, DOL-VETS and with the University of Texas at Arlington, invite you to attend a U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) free informational, networking, and training Forum for Federal contractors, employers and community-based organizations (CBOs). The purpose of this symposium is to provide Federal contractors with updates to the DOL agencies‘ mission and the opportunity to network with local community based organization representatives. Participants will have the opportunity to attend the OFCCP Dallas District Office’s presention on OFCCP’s new compensation guidelines and non-discrimination in compensation practices. In addition, Ms. Angela Taiforos, Executive Director for Dallas-Ft. Worth Youth Build will participate as a guest speaker. Several sessions on a variety of topics will be given by the other participating DOL agencies at the Forum. The workshops are designed to help contractors and employers learn about how to comply with the law and to provide relationship building and networking opportunities with numerous community based organizations.
