Update to the 2009 Regulatory Plan Narrative - ESA Dissolution

At the time of agenda preparation, the Employment Standards Administration (ESA) of the Department of Labor was in existence as an administrative “umbrella” component of the Department of Labor providing organizational and administrative support to four constituent components: the Wage and Hour Division, the Office of Labor-Management Standards, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs. As a result of departmental restructuring, ESA as an administrative umbrella has been removed and the four constituent components remain as separate agencies. The dissolution of ESA does not affect the regulatory priorities of these four agencies.
