The Federal
Transit Administration (FTA), a division of the U.S. Department of
Transportation, has announced that it will host its Second Annual Drug
and Alcohol Program National Conference in New Orleans April 10-12,
2007.
This free, two and
a half day conference will include FTA speakers from the Office of the
Secretary’s Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance (ODAPC),
FTA auditors and FTA Drug and Alcohol MIS Program staff. It will also
feature professionals from the DOT Drug and Alcohol testing industry
(including a Medical Review Officer, Substance Abuse Professional, Urine
Collector, Breath Alcohol Technician and a representative from an HHS-certified
lab).
During the
conference, attendees will have the opportunity to attend a variety of
90-minute presentations, including “How to
Save Money on your Drug & Alcohol Program” and “The Role of the
Substance Abuse Professional.”
