Federal Strategic Plan Requirement

  • The Government Performance and Results Act of 1993:
    • Aims to improve the confidence of the American people in the capability of Federal government.
    • Holds Federal agencies accountable to results.
  • One requirement of the Act calls for the development of a multi-year strategic plan that must be updated every three years.
