Andrew R. Davis

Andrew R. Davis began his OLMS career in November 2005, as a policy and law advisor in the OLMS Division of Interpretations and Standards (DIS). In that role, he assisted in rulemaking, policy, and interpretative work, and guidance for the field and public regarding the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA) and related laws and regulations. In 2007, he worked on detail as an investigator in the OLMS Washington District Office. In January 2009, Mr. Davis became the DIS Chief. In that role, he was responsible for developing and formulating policy and administering regulatory activity, as well as developing and administering a comprehensive national public information program designed to increase compliance with the LMRDA and related laws. In May 2021, Mr. Davis became the Director of the Office of Program Operations (OPO). The OPO Director is responsible for the management and direction of OLMS program operations, including oversight of the Division of Interpretations and Regulations and the OLMS Division of Compliance Assistance. Mr. Davis graduated from the University of Maryland and the Catholic University of America School of Law.
